[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another view from my parents patio (I was staying there with a leg in plaster for 8 weeks so I took a lot of shots!)

The tree is the top of a tall Scots Pine, across the road, although I think it looks more like a scene from the Serengeti in Africa.

I freely confess I have done quite a lot of PP work on this one to get the colour tones I wanted. Generally I prefer not too, but I don't mind admitting it when I do cheat a bit.

Superb composition with good strong contrasts. The dark silhouette makes a terrific foil for the brilliant colours here

Hi Andy,
PP or not this is a beautiful shot, love the rich orange colours. Great framing.
If you hadnt of put Devon on this I quite agree it could have been a landscape shot from the Serengeti.

Hi, Andy,
As trees are my friends, I enjoy this shot very much!
The light has enabled you to bring some graphism about the photo.
Delightful work!

Beautiful sunset shot - great slhouette of the tree (and it does look like an acacia tree) and super colours in the sky.
Thanks for sharing
Mark

hmm.. the only thing missing here is the elephant's silhouette Andy.
Lovely work indeed, even though you cheated a bit...
I know a lot of people who cheat, but dare not admitt.

I hope your leg is better now....
