This is another scanned picture from art college work on the theme 'Plymouth Barbican'. This is the original picture printed out in the college darkrooms. The edges suffered a lot of damage and the crop was not done properly. Opps

It's a shame about the crop, but the shadows are really strong in this image. I think if you were a bit lower down we'd have a better pof but I like it. Thanks for posting.

i like the photo, although the date gives it away. even without it, i thought that this photo seems to convey that ancient mariner theme. the old port, with the cracking walk, and the old and damaged hemp rope.

how i hate the hemp ropes. it's so itchy on the touch, and smells nasty and looks ugly. at the same time, the nylon rope; doesn't seem to be all that better either. of course, it's more useful on a sailboat then a thick hemprope will ever be...

great composition! i like the pov, and especially the black and white!
