Hello everyone, this was the Plymouth Half Marathon which thousands of people ran in aid of charity.

Our son was participating, so we were on the lookout for him. Here we were stood just below the Hoe, which is Plymouth's sea front.[The sea is behind me.]

This runner seemed to have an unfair advantage in that he had four legs!!!!
And he wasn't the winner!

Just a little bit of pp work really, hadn't you guessed?
Actually it was our son who was almost hidden by the runner that you see.

We were very impressed by James's running, his first half marathon and he came in at just under 1 hour 30 minutes.

Thanks for looking, have a good weekend.

Another really great addition to the theme. Good imagination and timing. Nice detail. TFS

Hi Jean,

Very good PP work (cloning out all but your son's legs) and great fun to see this addition for the theme.
All those spectators add attractive splashes of colour to the composition.

Jean Hi:
Marvelous composition for the theme, very original, very creative.
Thanks for the wonderful note, as well
Congratulations, James, 1 hour 30 minutes in your FIRST is just amazing.
I really enjoyed running and especially 1/2 marathons, the marathons always seem so very long but was always happy to finish
Congratulations, very nicely composed and presented

Hello Jean

A nice amusing candid style shot here with good sharp detail and excellent colour saturation. congratulations to James too.

TFS and for joining in the theme

Kind regards Helen

Hello Jean,

A crafty piece of PP to produce this amusing result. The receding groups of spectators on the Hoe give BG interest, and depth to the perspective.

Always useful to have some splashes of red to liven up the picture especially on a dull day.

Kind regards,

Peter.

Oh Jean this is sneaky butttttt very effective. A good eye for the theme. This weeks task sounded so simple but I didn't want to show a cow or horse. Well you mastered the unusual perfectly. Cheers

Dan

Hahaha! Wow, well done! You've seen it perfectly and it fits OK in the theme! Good work Jean!

Mario

An excellent submission for the theme Jean. I like the way you captured the runner obscuring your son in full flight, both feet off the ground. Good colour and well composed,
David

Chuckle...neat trick! Interesting set of shoes on that four-legged runner. Hmmm...many of the bystanders don't seem to notice anything unusual:) Excellent theme entry, and well done!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Brilliant Jean! Well seen, what a cheater!! He should be banned! I could run a marathon if I had 4 legs too! This is wonderful! Great posting for the theme!!

HI Jean
A sort of optical illusion but a good one for the theme.
The energy of 4 would get you there much faster.
Well done
Dot
