[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello,a shot from the Plym estuary close to where we live.
This particular day the sun was shining and lighting up the houses across the water.
I am particularly fond of 'oil paint' in the effects section of my post processing software and I hope that you like the effect that it has created for me.

So thanks for looking, any comments are always appreciated.

PP:crop,used effects---oil paint-brush width10, variance 20,vibrance 2,applied highlights in levels,added a narrow border,and resized for posting.

Hi Jean,

This certainly looks like an oil painting well done. Good range of colours and I love the reflection on the water. TFS

HI Jean
I kept looking to see if you had posted something new.
You have turned this into a fine realistic painting.
Great pp work.
Dot

Hello Jean,

It is a very effective 'painting'.
Good composition, colour tones and positioning of the focal point.

It would be interesting for us, as viewers, to see the original so that we can compare them.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

A really nice heavy pp posting here Jean! I like the oilpainting effect! I used to paint, long time ago...still have them hanging, but photography is so FAST..I like it better!

You've 'painted' this well Jean - How nicely done it is.
It is fun, isn't it? I'm tempted to do this and print a large one for the wall one day..
Well positioned on the 1/3s too
