"Leave me alone, you said you were only going to take one photo, now everyone wants to take a picture of me..........am I famous?"
Living Coasts is one of south Devon's most popular family attractions. Situated on Devons coast line with fabulous views of Tor Bay this unique coastal zoo gives a fascinating insight into marine life.
There are an important group of birds for 'Living Coasts' and holds large flocks of two species. The African penguin (Spheniscus demersus) is less active and are stand statue like. The Gentoo penguins (Pygoscelis papua) from the Antarctic make better use of deep water and are excellent for visitor viewing of birds underwater, as well as having completely different nesting behaviour from African penguins.
It is so nice there that some of the penguins are walking amoungst the visitors so pictures up close, like this one, are not hard to achieve.
