For Friday's Theme,"Hands" I believe in the UK this gentleman's profession was called a Stoker, which means, one who tends & supplies fuel to a furnace. It looks as though it could be pretty hard on one's back.

Hi Ron,

I believe they used to employ very small people in the early days of steam although after the steam is up all that is needed is a little coal occasionally. This is a great shot of the inside of the cab and it is nice to see the stoker at work. Great colours and sharp details nice pov well done.

Regards
Jon

Hi Ron,
Good choice for this weeks theme, the details look extremely sharp throughout. Nice exposure from the flash too. I was invited to take a photo like this once, but there was hardly any room to move, must have been a bit of a challenge for you to compose this. Good job.

TFS,
Scott.

hi ron, love the industrial feel to this, a great add to this theme, the colors and details are perfect,

Good capture Ronald,
The shot is sharp with good detail, it looks a pretty small boiler, is it a steam train?
cheers
Jack

Hello Ronald
This is very good use of your flash, everthing nicely exposed and sharp. Good pov -were you actually on the footpalte?
On UK railways this man is called a 'fireman'.
