[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was always impressed with those stone walls one sees
everywhere in the countryside,whether it be in England, Wales or Scotland. The material all taking from the earth, as the fields were cleared for crops.
No cement to bind the stones together,just proper placement & they certainly have stood the test of time,but must have been backbreaking work.

hi Ron good detailed shot of the dry stane dyke as we callthem over here in Scotia you have shown the stones and how they are laid realy well i had a shot at this years ago given my brother in law help to repair one never been so sore after a days work in my life

IMO I really like your POV looking at and over your wall. I think it differs from the usuall one we see.

The colors are really nice as well.

I agree with your notes.. We have a few stone walls still standing and it always amazes me they stand the test of time ...

Very well exposed scene, the clarity looks top notch too. I like shots like this, seems so natural and 'pure'. The colour of the rocks work well against the bright greens in the grass, spectacular view in the distance too. Can only image how old these are. Well seen, but more importantly, well taken.

I also love these fences and I dream of someday seeing them in person. Nice lighting, colors and detail, and I also love the bg scenery. TFS
