[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello everyone, close to where we live is the National Trust property- Saltram House.
This shot shows the building that was originally the chapel. It is now known as the Chapel Gallery, and contains arts and crafts from local artists.

I liked the way that the cedar tree camouflages the building.[At least I think that it is a cedar tree.
]
Signs of autumn as the creeper growing on the chapel is changing colour.
Thanks for viewing, your comments are welcomed.

PP:rotated,applied mid-tone levels and a little saturation,cropped a little,added a border,applied unsharp mask and resized.

I also like the way the tree dominates the building, and there are some nice details in the foliage. Colour is subdued but natural looking, although I would prefer more sky detail preserved, maybe a tweak in something like Photoshop would help recover the detail, or the use of a soft ND Grad filter at the time of taking would also have helped.

Jean,
Lovely capture, colors and light is wonderful, goos POV.

Hi Jean
Its a great composition, the sharp details are well captured
The colors are natural, the light control is good but may improve, nice result indeed
Thank you
Alireza

Hello Jean,

You have a lovely composition with the f/g triangle of lawn setting a nice angle for the positioning of the house. The tree is magnificent with its size, spreading boughs and blue/green tones.
It's such a pity about the sky but anyone who has lived in England this summer will appreciate the difficulty of capturing a blue sky.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hello,

Grandiose image, un bien beau parc avec de la belle végétation, la maison cachée par les arbres, superbe.

Bravo et amitié

Nicou

Hi Jean
The red in the vines really shows well against the variety of greens. The overcast sky has provided a nice even light. Well done.
