Hello everyone,
maybe a bit predictable? But this shot had lots of different shades of blue and seemed to fit the bill.

This is Brixham in Devon, one of the towns gathered together to form the Torbay area,on the south coast of Devon. It is a busy fishing port with trawlers, pleasure craft and yachts.
This was the first time that we had visited the town, and we were pleasantly surprised by it.It was a beautiful sunny day and everyone was out enjoying the day. There was a real bustle about the place.

The only critism I would have of this shot, is that I missed capturing the top of the mast!

Anyway thanks for looking.

PP:adjusted midtone levels 0.95,applied saturation+5,applied unsharp mask, added borders, and resized for posting.

Hello Jean,

This is a lovely nautical scene. The stacked homes reminds me a bit of Cinque Terre. The tech settings appear optimum in yielding a sharp and high quality image. I was about to comment on the composition until I read your Note re: missing capturing the top of the mast. Wishing you a good w/e.

Hello, Jean.

Beautiful!

What a beautiful clear and sharp picture, with incredible details and sharpness. The blues are superb and I love the bright flashes of red and green throughout the image which add depth and interest. So much to look at too, from the boats to the myriad of buildings in the background. Lovely composition too.

Kind Regards,

John.

Beautifully composed with good clarity and colours Maybe a wider lens perspective would have included the top of the mast and then you could have cropped. I think thats a real advantage we have over the old folm cameras unless you had your own darkroom
Torbay is a lovely part of the world My wife and I spent one of our forst holidays camping around that area Thanks for the reminder Nice shot
warm regards
David

Nicely done Jean. You have captured the various blue tones well and the image is perfectly exposed.
