Presence

I wanted to show some presence from Bateman's Tower in Essex this time and decided that BW was the way to go. I shot it down low with my Sigma 10-20mm (great piece of kit BTW). OK, so there's some convergence (which could have been minimized in Photoshop), but I kinda like it. What do you all think?
From colour, I changed it to an infa-red BW in CS3, added some diffusion, added more texture to the structure (via crosshatch filter, and multiply 25%).
Thanks for looking.

Hi Tim
Great perspective. Love the contrast in the sky. I think B&W suits this image perfectly.
Cheers
HM
I'll second the motion regarding the sigma 10-20, my favourite lens by far.
Great composition, the leaning perspective is interesting - the sky looks great.
Nice work Tim.

David
Hi Tim,
I like the slunt pointed arch opening vs dark sky.I like the screed infront the opening vs water area behind, tringle vs square window, dark grass vs bright horizon. Wonderful shot with B&W.i wish i can take the same composition. TFS

Hi Tim
Cracking shot, love the atmosphere provided by the pseudo I/R effect. Not bothered by the perspective in fact not straightening it adds to the shot

spooky feel to picture. I think good in black white. good effect to make building look like Pisa tower!
Hello Tim! love the picture, nice B/W work, like the little underexposure and darkness and of course that "leaning" tower...
