Hello everyone, this is the path to Bridge End garden; one part of which can be seen in my previous post.

The path passes the Fry Art Gallery which was built in 1856 by Francis Gibson to hold his personal art collection. The Art Gallery is just to the left, behind me, this was my view as I came out of the door.

The art collection was then inherited by Gibson's daughter Elizabeth Fry.(A famous person in her own right.)

We walked down the path towards the building in the picture, then passed through an arch into the beginnings of Bridge End Gardens.

A lovely find and most unexpected.

Thanks for looking, enjoy your day.

Jean Hi:
Beautiful and beautifully composed and presented. These gardens are artwork in their own right and you have presented them impressively. Thanks for the educational notes, as well.
Congratulations, very well done.

Hi Jean, well this is one location that I wouldn't mind ,"being led down the garden path:)" as the saying goes.
I really like the olde England feel this image gives off.Strong composition.

Good POV for a "teaser" view of the garden entrance:) I like the feeling of having just stepped into this spot, as you nicely described in your note, and finding this scene to draw you in. Love the light and combination of greenery/brickery. Well done.
