[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shot was taken in my kitchen (which is rapidly becoming like a mini-studio!). I had an incense stick burning about 12 inches away from a black piece of card.

I used an off-camera flash slightly behind the smoke plume and pointing a little toward the camera to minimise light spilling onto the card and maintain the black background.

Even so, I had to deepen the shadows in elements to get the image looking like this.

This is a very good capture of that moving smoke. In fact, it can be anything beside smoke too !
