I know that this is not my best picture, but I came across this and another 4 stags running through the forest, I just had to stop the car, grab my camera and run after them. I have had to do quite alot of PP work on this picture, brightness and contrast, curves and colours as it was very dark through the trees.

Hi Jane,I can see why you would wan't to stop the car & capture this young stag, but I have to agree this is not a great capture in that its not very sharp nor detailed perhaps because of the darkness of the trees if you had centre metred with focus on the main subject, perhaps with a little higher ISO & use of a tripod it may have had more sharpness, just my two pennies worth.
