The city of Portsmouth can be seen in the background, in this sunset shot, taken from Langstone.
Portsmouth is also known as 'Pompey'. hence my Trek Lens name.
A cokin sunset filter was used.

Horizon slap bang in the middle, but here it works to good effect as does the cokin filter. Just enough silhouette base to add depth to picture.

Wonderful photo!!! Nice foreground that works well as a silhouette with the distant skyline in the background and also my favorite filter.

Nice shot, keeping rocks in the foreground. Composition is better like this.

Very nice.
Red is a good color in photos. I like the way the sky and the reflection are identical and it is only the reflection of the sun and the houses that give it away.
