[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A double re-fuelling takes place above Portsmouth at the International Festival Of The Sea.
As I know nothing of planes, perhaps someone will tell me what they are.
Thanks to Hans I now know that they are a VC10 and some Harriers.

Hi Michael,

Cool POV here giving us a wonderful silhouetted look at these military aircraft, first time I've ever seen a dual re-fuel too, very interesting.

Great shot mate

Beauitufl shot action shadow shape form.

Hi Michael,

What a photo! The black silhouettes of the aircraft really contrast well with the blue sky! There is no mistaking the Harriers!

Well done
Constantinos

Hi Michael,
Superb colors and silhouettes, great details too, thanks for sharing,
Fran

Hello Mick, I like the planes being silhouetted against the blue sky and also the choice of a diagonal composition, two choices that add up to a striking image.

Regards, Roger.

Hi Michael,
Great shot of the Vickers VC10 tanker and the two Harriers GR9/9A STOL aircrafts. Excellent against the blueish clouded sky clearly seen are the refueling hoses from the tanker. Perfect shot although I have the impression you did 'something' with the dimentions of the image, the planes look a bit streched. Nice frame too!
Hans

N.B. Your Nimrod and Tornado suggestion gives me a big smile :)

Very good action shot in the sky. I like how the planes are silhouetted against the blue sky.

Hello Michael !

Congratulations ! Not an easy one to get . I like the effect of theses silhouettes against the blueish sky. Pretty cool shot.
Hans is really good with planes (^_^). Useful note Hans . Great eye ! I did recognize the harriers ( not the exact model although ) LOL !
Chers guys!
Robert
