[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shot was taken at Baffins Pond a stretch of water close to where I live. It very rarely freezes over but when it does some kind volunteers jump in and break the ice for the local wildfowl. This had only just happened when these two flew in and looked as pleased as punch.I took a few different exposures but liked this one the best.

hello Roger,
I like this image. it looks very pleasing to the eye.
The lighting is very interesting and has been expertly captured.
The composition is greatly enhanced by the way the light nicely 'throws out' one of the birds.
Great sharpness and overall result!

Nice shot mate, lovely lighting, reflections and contrasting textures. Swans perfectly positioned to create the diagonal.
