[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken from the car ferry we were travelling on to a small island off the south coast of England called Isle of Wight, from Portsmouth. There is no road link to the island so everything is carried by boat or ferry. The passenger catamaran leaves from Portsmouth to Ryde and takes 15 minutes the car ferries leave from Portsmouth, Southampton and Lyndhurst. The Portsmouth route takes 35 minutes and the ferries are big. There are 5 that cover this route and depending which ferry it is they take approx. 140 - 190 cars and 770 - 880 passengers; they also take very big lorrieswith supplies for the island shops and supermarkets

A picture i like very much, first for the subject, then quality. Lively, we feel the great wind that is blowing. It has superb colors and hues typical of the sea, well respected. Is it taken from a large vessel?
