[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I came across these two lovely Row deer while driving home from the stable yard the other day, I just stopped the car in the middle of the road, and grabbed my camera, I had to work fast as they saw me and started to move, I also had to keep an eye on the road both ways to ensure I didnt hold up any traffic.

I like this picture alot but if anyone would like to do a workshop on it then please feel free, I would love to see it without all the foreground blur.

All C&C welcome

Hi jane

You lucky lucky girl - you have managed to get closer than i ever have!

This is a lovely crisp picture and I like the dappled shade. I think the blur of the foreground helps to give the picture depth

nice shot

cheers
Linzi

Hi Jane
Wow, what a fantastic shot. They certainly are alert to you being there.
You seem to be very lucky to get all these wonderful shots of wildlife that you have in your profile.

Nice shot Jane.
I like the natural light alot, it shows them of very well. Great colours and good sharpness of the deer.A well suited frame
Well done

Hi Jane
It's a lovely shot and I think the out of focus branches ( ? ) in the foreground give us a sense of sneaking up on the deer
Regards Pez

i never did better, but my critiques are the more honest possible, indeed some branches are disturbing and the focus is not perfect, in an other way it provides a painting look,
the foreground blur is very hard to clone out, a long work for the one you'll try it
good

hi radar

lovely capture here, very good pov and the fg foliage doesnt distract too much, gives it a realism..

lovely colours and great frame/crop..

well captured considering the time factor involved...excellent.

cheers..harry.

hi jane.
excellent candid shot of these elusive creatures. i have tried to capture them but to no avail. you have done well.
i have done a ws to tidy up the fg. it is not perfect but it has taken away a lot of the blur. hope it is okay?
the fg blur does add a feeling of 'spying'.

Hi Jane

What a lovely sight, I love the alert poses and wonderful setting. Lovely natural colours as well. I have found a Roe Deer buck in a hidden wood near my home. I have photographed him twice and posted the shots on TN: my deer
He doesn't seem to mind me but I'm avoiding the spot at the moment as I don't want him to feel that his space has been invaded. It looks like we like the same subjects :)

Hello Jane, I seem to have missed this one first time round!I love the light captured here, it gives your shot a lovely quality.
I don't mind the fg blur, it doesn't detract from the shot for me at all.
A good 'spur of the moment' shot.
Useful notes,it is always good to know the circumstances that pictures were taken in.
Tfs, regards Jean.
