[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Saw loads of foxgloves in the New Forest. Took this shot. I quite like it for the bright of the pink against the bark of the tree.
Cropped
Sharpened slightly (did go one more step but I think it was too much so went back again)
Resized
Framed

Karen, Very good DOF, and the sharpening is just right, you would have had some ghosting if you took it further. Well done!

I love these flower too Karen. This looks so tender growing wild like this. The blurred BG looks good and makes the foxglove stand out even more.
Well done
Janice

It was taken at a garden I visited. I've never seen one as big as this before.

HI Karen
I love the way you did your composition so that the tree would be the background for the foxglove. YOu really get the feeling that you are in the forest.
Very good sharpness also

Hi Karen

I do love foxgloves. This has a nice POV, sharp details and wonderful natural colours. I like the woodland setting as well
