This is a very lucky pair as just 2 weeks ago they had a very nasty fall that put the rider in hospital after the mare fell at a jump and landed on her crushing her quite badly. She is still nursing a broken rid and a very sore pelvis which makes riding not that comfortable as you can imagine. Charlotte has been riding since before she could walk and has always worked with horses and now runs her mothers yard. This accident only put her out of action for 1 week and all last week she was working the horses she has on the yard and today was her first show with this lovely mare. I know from experience that once you have a fall of a horse going back to showing it again you still have thoughts of what happened the last time you rode her so it cant of been easy to get back on today and ride as if nothing had happened.

Hello Jane,
Charlotte is doing very well to be even riding with a fractured fib and a sore pelvis. I'd say as with most riders that she is a tough cookie and rides through the pain. She is grimacing here.
Well captured with great lighting on the pair.
Lovely mare.
TFS, Joni
good explanatory note, I love the capture the movement of the horse in this one, horses are such noble animals.
