[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
"Without you to hold me
And heal my heart
To guide me and keep me
From falling apart
My life is so empty
So hollow and cold
Footsteps and echoes
Of nowhere to go

Without you, without you I know
I'm all alone
I can't go on this way
Day by day
Without you without you I know
I'm all alone
I can't go on this way
Day by day" - Joey Albert

*Just a bit bored, can't think of anything to upload... so why not try myself? All comments, good or bad are welcome. I know there's plenty of noise in the picture, but unfortunately, I'm not really sure how to improve it. It's a bit hard being a model and your own photographer at the same time. LOL!*

GOOD SELFPORTRAIT!!
You got that noise because you were working with low light, so the black and white was a good idea. Now it looks like film grain...
I like the pose and the expression on your face.

thanks for sharing

very nice old style b&w foto !
If you ever could get a roll of Ilford FP4 low grain film, you should give it a try, you may get very nice semitones with it !

I like the pose, the mood, and the light here - it creates a beautiful sense of intimacy.

Ok use of space, I think it could be cropped better to make more powerful composition.

The noise/grain is ok for this nature of shot.

wonderful portrait Tinky,great gray tones,beautifully done,best regards

Hi Tinky!
Beautiful girl. Very interesting scene. Nice capture. Original job.
Cheers!

I think Rew is right about cropping it differently, Maria. For instance a square format would really improve the compo, IMO. The dark part near the right edge, for instance, has no function in the shot.
The grain looks not too bad, with the b&w it creates a certain mood, reminding us of film grain indeed. Now, at f/4 and 1600 ISO you get only 1/15 of a sec? Mmm... some more light would reduce the noise significantly...
SP can be a lot of fuss indeed, but you managed your pose quite well.
I'm out of ws for today, but I'm gonna try something in PS.
