[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken early in the morning in Micheldever Wood, near Winchester. The location is close to home for me, and is often excellent for bluebells in spring.

At the taking stage: The blurry/impressionist effect that I wanted was created when I took the picture by smearing vaseline onto an old skylight filter. (If you want to try this effect yourself, I recommend using an old filter, rather than putting vaseline directly on the lens!)

Post-processing: Cropped (to give the panoramic effect) and a slight increase in saturation (to boost the green and emphasise the colour of the bluebells).

Thanks for looking.

Impressive indeed John... I think this is something you either like or dislike...
And.. I like... maybe simply because of the colors. I have something going with green...

nice abstract John!

Hi John,This effect is slightly similar to that of a multiple exposure shot,& just as effective,I will give this a try, providing I have an old filter:)Very vibrant & strong image, the blending of the brown & purples works well.

Hi John.

A stunning photo of bluebell woods. I wondered if you'd used the blur options in PS but I see you've used the 'traditional' method to create this stunning effect.

Regards, Paul.

Hola John, el efecto visual en esta imagen es raro, pero me parece muy atractivo, las formas, los colores, el desenfoque...
me parece muy buen trabajo.
