Good afternoon TrekFrens,
Not much to say about this one. I've been at a party at a friend's house in rural Herefordshire this weekend and I took this with a killer hangover in their garden this morning. But I feel better now, thankyou for asking!
My girlfriend tells me this is a Perennial Cornflower (Centaurea montana, according to one of her many wildflower books) which flowers May - July and is a frequent garden escapee.
No pp work, apart from resizing for upload. |

Hello,
Sounds like the party was good, this is a bit differnt for you, too hung over to go wondering round scrap yards or climbing hills? I like it good pastel colours and I like the shallow DOF.
Cheers
Tom
Good evening John (she whispers for fear of being told off for shouting)
Lovely capture and your girlfriend is right it is a Cornflower. Nice crisp sharp image with good colours. Possibly could have done with a tad less exposure.
TFS regards Helen
