taken outside canterbury cathedral, in one of the gardens.
cs2 work for b+w and contrast
i worked with levels in cs2 to create the black background, and the tones on the petals. these were only snap shots, so the background was a bit disruptive, which is why i thought i would try the black background, and i think they came out quite well. |

HI, lovely image, nicely done and inventive...they look almost like porcelain, really nice texture to them...
Hello Jennifer,
From the thumbnail I thought it was a very fluffy bed with flowing white sheets and a few people lying thereupon; I'm quite the nearsighted soul! Oops, I may have my mind slightly towards the gutter at times.
A very artistic photo with an extremely creamy texture – well done!
Thanks for sharing,
Esperança
Hi Jennifer
Realy nice, I think you have achieved what you set out to do.
Maybe I would have got rid of thoses blemishes on the petals in P/S.
Have a great day

Hello Jennifer,
The lighting here creates a lovely softness. Your choice of a black bg pays off here in my opinion.

Nice tones showing texture with good composition. Looks like part of a plaster relief carving. A bit lighter and more contrast might have been good for me though.
