[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shot was taken during our summer holidays in the UK and I think it indicates how we have a responsibility to share our world with wildlife. Most shots of swans are taken in attractive countryside so I found this scene unusual in that respect.
Thanks for viewing

Hi David,

This shot portrays the plight of nature vs. man well. A very good documentary shot with excellent sharpness and DOF. No one has difficulty with pigeons in these types of surroundings, but the swans should give us pause.

Best regards,
Werner

hi David like this shot simple subject but very effectivley composed nice natural feel to it

Hi David,

The swans like most birds and animals in our environment have adapted one way or another so that they can survive. To seem them like this is looks very unnatural the pov is very good as is the dof good colours and sharp details tfs.

Regards
Jon

Hi David

The convivial group of white swans in the fg add a beautiful focal point to this superb seaside shot. Good sharpness & framing with excellent colour. Tfs!

HI David
That is a great capture, all this clutter of boats, cranes docks even down to the sewer pipe and the contrasting swans adapting to this kind of environment. Definitely would make a great shot for people like green peace
Dot

David, great perspective on our environment. I'm a bit of a history buff on the industrial revolution around the United Kingdom, thanks to a musical album written and produced by Peter Gabriel. The album's name, "Ovo" is a history of that industrial time through a period of about a hundred years, and even into the future. Very entertaining. If you buy the CD, be sure and get the literature that comes along with it. Quite innovative piece of a modern opera. But, not everyone's "cup of tea."
