Tenterden Town Station, on the Kent and East Sussex Railway. This small railway was built in 1900 and runs through some delighful countryside from Tenterden to Bodiam. The train in the platform is a 1950's diesel but the railway also operates some steam locomotives.

Greetings Leslie,
You really have captured the mood & activity of this railway station. You also captured the bright sunshine without any hint of OEs. This is the type of image, one needs to take some time, to study all the subject matter it contains. I like the two men in the signal hut as well as the ticket collector by the entrance gate & a lot more interesting items,do men still wear Whites:). Well caught, strong composition & a really good capture of the early afternoon light.

Hi Leslie,
Great shot of days gone by....I remember our local branch line used to look like this but with a walkway to pass over the lines to get to the other side, all that went when they turned it electric and started running the Metro. Nice colours and composition, you got a good day for it. TFS
