This shot was one of the first with my new Sigma 10-20mm lens. Couldn’t wait to give a go so I got the local skaters together on the first sunny day and here is the result.
My first thoughts on the Sigma 10-20mm lens: Its a useful piece of kit it might not be to everyone’s taste but the very wide 110 degree angle really helps me get the action shots I was looking for and allows me to get much closer to the action while not limiting the scope of my photographs. There is some distortion around the edges once the lens set between 10-16mm but for me it just adds another dimension to my photography and I plan to encompass this more in my work.
PP: made a duplicate layer increase contrast and decreased saturation then set the new layer to 60% Opacity to blend the 2.
Thanks for looking sorry I’ve been away work is holding me back at the moment hope everyone is well
