[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this photo on a long walk home from town back to my home at the university in Lancaster. It was the first time I had taken this route home and I found myself walking for hours along a beautiful canal took a full card of photo’s that day this was one of my favourites.

I had to increase saturation on the green in the picture to get the effect I wanted because of the predictable dull weather in the UK but I hope to go back on a brighter day to get some more images down by this bridge.

Hope you like it

Beautiful! Nice post-processing. I like the bridge reflection in the canal. It looks like a movie.

Hi Ben,
Great capture. I think may be you over-saturated the image with green but that is just a minor thing. Overall this is a good photo.

Although I think landscapes like this look interesting enough without any post-processing enhancement, I have to admit that this particular one benefits from playing with the colors a little. It is definitely more eye-catching now than it must have been straight out of the camera. I would have tried to move the bridge itself to the left of the frame, though. Firstly to adhere to the rule of the thirds (it would also remove the tree on the left which must be distracting to a viewer), and secondly to avoid the amount of overexposure on the left. Great picture, nevertheless! I would like to see more shots of this bridge taken by you when sunlight gives you a diferrent view on the subject.

Nice one. Excellent color composition. TFS.

Kiran.

Beautiful lush green color. Super composition, truly beautiful phoot. I wouldnt change a thing about it.

awe-inspiring scene Ben. Very few colours but impressive

it seems to look a big green buble where it's impossible to have it... strange but nice effect also because the picture is very well done

Hi Ben,
Awesome green saturated tones within this interesting photo.
I like the bridge tucked in all this vegetation and the great reflection in the water of the surroundings.
I think Mark(markula) has a few good points about this image but I like the image very much also as you present it.
Green is indeed the title for this image!
Fresh for the eyes to view!

Thanks for visiting. This photo is a play with hue map. I understand why you did this. I see you got many points for this picture and it takes you only a couple of days to get them. Do you know why? You know - because of that green color... I give you 2 points because of the scenery on this photo and composition. In my opinion there is a little too much green on this photo. It isn't any special type of photography, but this set needs a little less saturation and color. Ok, thanks one more time.
Jarek

What a vibrant green you captured for this photo! so lively and sharp! yes, tell me about the dull British weather...my images also have to undergo a "saturation rescue operation" as a result of the too frequently overcast sky:)

I really like this one (as you gathered), the compo, reflection, frame, colours all work great together.

WELL DONE,

Shelly:)

Hello. This is all green. The title figure very good the essence of the picture. I love this colour... Good work!!

Hi Kruger,

Love this shot - wonderful capture of the canal.

TFS,

Bobbi

Its so nice to see something unique and creative such as these green tones. I like it because it seems to have a lot of colourful energy. The composition is great as I like how you included a grass patch at the bottom right hand corner. The reflections on the canal are also very good. I can see why you like walking this route. Brilliant shot. Well done Ben.

Hi ,
A Perfect Shot!!! AWESOME!!!
TFS.
Uma.

hi Ben, this is an incredble shot. Congratulations

Well... its a pitty you had to increese saturation here, because this creates to much noise or grain. The shutter speed should have been reduced to obtain more brightness.
