[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The first of my action sports photograph this picture shows one of my close friends jumping down a huge set of stairs while spinning 180 degrees. While most people who rollerblade tend to skate through the day because of the work restrictions of my friends we often go at night and this can make for some interesting photographs

PP:
cropping/framing
used a filter to replace the blues with red and the reds with blue as an experiment to try to emphasise the front of the picture the colours are very similar to the original just switched around to brighten the point of focus

hope you like it will post some more rollerblading shot in the coming weeks hopfully

Very nice, strong colors. You froze the action very well. The other guy watching is also good for the scene. Nice POV. Congratulations (PS: try one with very low shutter spedd in order to blur the movement - should come out nice). Bye.

Nice action shot, Ben! Your POV emphasizes the height of the jump. You did a good job with colors: I like the contrast between the skater and the background. Too bad his position is not really indicative of the spin he's in. I'd like to see more rollerblading shots from you in the future, it's a great subject to work on. Regards,
Mark
P.s. Just took a peek into your gallery, turns out I liked one of your recent shots of a totally diferrent subject ("Green"), too. Congratulations!

Cool photo! Great POV and colors! Great action. Excellent job. JP

Great shot in movement and rest; without the boys it was alreay a good one because of colouring and angles.
Good work Ben

I also like the arquitectuaral lines behind both skaters. Sooner or later you will adjust to the real world, and will have bigger problems as most of us. :) Enjoy life pal.

That's what we call a jump! The action is well catch and i like the way there is another guy who look to simply don't care so much!
Great action shot!

Nice shot in dynamics, great work, fine captured!

Malik & Mary.

I see there is a lot of action going on at the Town Hall late at night! ;)
Great shot Ben! Outstanding moment and good PP work!

All the best!

Marco

Great sense of action Ben. The other guy almost looks bored.
