[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is my contribution for Light Painting Theme created by Wong (wck). The image is composed of 4 photographs taken on 10 second exposures in my bedroom with all lights off except a rope light I own which has 100 blue LED’s inside I varied shaking the camera and moving it side to side to achieve patterns with the lights. This is a montage of 4 of the best, I may post some of the full images later this week if anyone wishes to see them.

Only PP is cropping and framing no colour or contrast adjustments

Comments and criticisms welcome as always

Do you move the camera or the rope when taking this shot?
May sound silly but I have no experience with such photoes.

Hi, very creative and original effect. I don't know exactly what is a rope light but the effect is great, it has movement and pattern.
well done!

Hi Kruger!
you really seem to have mastered this technique! very original! the movement creates an awesome visual effect!
and i must say..the framing makes it look like it's ready to go to an art gallery!
Good job!
Catarina

Good movement of the camera. The painting with light curves are very attractive. I also like the splash of yellow colour here and there. I've tried this technique too, but my results weren't half as nice as these four. You have inspired me to try again after seeing your experiment. Nice work and great for Wong's theme.

I love these pictures you have of all the lights very creative. Thanks for posting on my pictures I would have missed yours if you didn't. These photos are fun to create and i believe inspires the imagination a bit. Keep up the good work!

Extremely arty shot - the framing sets the colours off really well and each picture is varied enough that you want to keep looking at them - I find myself trying to look for patterns or shapes.
Thanks for sharing
Mark

This is a great experiment, Ben! I'l try to do it next time when I have a time. TFS,
Freddie :)
