Just s little fun for today’s picture had this idea a while ago but it wasn’t until I got my SLR that I had the opportunity to play such tricks with my camera

Simply a 3 second exposure as the lights changed at a local cross roads

Wonder what would happen if this actually happened…Mayhem?

Strange colour shift. Magenta - Yellow - Blue. Was this intentional. Am I missing something?
NitPick ... subject is centred in frame.

ha - great idea Ben - turned out perfect

Hi! Ben,
I admire those that bend the rules, for without the adventurous Amateur the Professional Photographer would never learn new tricks. This is quite original and allowing the colours to be subtractive is very eye catching. It makes the viewer think and I like that a lot. Yes Kit mentioned the centering and I agree with that but when the adrenalin starts and the idea comes rushing in you get on with the art. As you get more relaxed and I have already done that here on TL, I learn so much from these guy 'n gals, you will go throught the compositional thing with more thought. I look into the viewfind differently now, making sure I get every frame pixel perfect so as to not crop after.

Thanks for the smile and keep pushing that envelope!

Mike.
