[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here’s a self portrait taken on the same night and in the same spot as my ‘Ghost in the Fog’ Picture posted previously. I loved the effect the fog had with the yellow street lamps there is no PP at all on this image except framing.

I used a remote shutter on 2 second delay to take this shot after having my girlfriend pose for a few while I got the DOF correct.

what a great photo. what a composition and nice color scheme. Looks excellent.
Keep it up.

A self-portrait that doesn't give much away for Interpol to work on but a very attractive presentation.
The above comment re centred subject does apply, I feel, and, with the RHS containing less detail and the subject facing left, perhaps a good inch off the RHS would make for a stronger image?

Hello Ben,

Very interesting self portrait. The composition is good and the lighting very moody. The fog does add mood. One thing that might improve the shot is to not have the main subject in the center of the frame. Cool self portrait Ben.

Hi Ben, Great shot with longtime exposed! Mood is great too. More then 2 sec the light ray become star shape sometimes (wheather can work on foggy night or not) TFS

* Lower part is too much for me, maybe is my own suggestion. How do you think?

Anyway still a great shot. Keep it Rock baby!!!

Michael Jackson? Yes it remain it of course. The posture is so typical! I enjoy me too the tone the street lamps can give to the scenes. IN my area it 's mostly orange then yellow.

This is my kind of photo. great moody lighting and atmosphere. I don't really understand how you got everything to look yellow withouth an pp but it is a great shot. Nice job! JP

Seriously though, good feel and awesome natural lighting. I like the way the pose makes you very anonymous either, no details of your face etc. Good location nicely framed by the fences and trees as well.

Hi Ben,
Wonderful composition and colors. I can still overlook the shadow appearing in the lower left hand and extending towards the center of the picture but really that is not much of a bother. Good work.

Brilliant photo Ben, DOF good, but your light, man that is excellent use of 'natural' light. Good thing it wasn't very foggy, otherwsie you might have come out looking spooky - meeting MJ on a misty/ foggy night is something to dread!
