After I came home from town today I was walking down my street and noticed the moon in the clear blue sky after rushing the rest of the way down the road I gabbed my camera and took a few shots. This particular shot does not best show the brightness in the afternoon sky but there faster shutter speed allowed me to capture more detail in the moon itself.
Thought it might make a nice addition to the contrast theme in the end of year hunt.

Hi Ben
The text is rather heavy for me and takes the eye away from the real subject
Barry
Simple and nice compo here.
As for the text, i guess it depends how you see it. For me, it works pefectly with your subject, a complement to it.

Hello Ben,
Good shot of the daytime Moon! The surface details show nicely. I really like the Moon against the bluse sky. It amazes me how many people do not realize that the Moon appears duriing the day as well. Great contrast theme image. TFS
Peace to you always!

Ever since, I never have this kind of result for Moon shot! Suprisingly clear & "Contrast"! Very well done my friend!
