[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The cockpit of a Boeing 737-800 photographed at night whilst a pilot briefs himself with the relevant information for the arrival airport.

The ambient light from outside was not visible to the naked eye as it was night time but the camera never-the-less reacts to it to give a good balance with the internal cockpit lighting. The low levels of available light do give an atmosphere to the image which I hope you like. Please feel free to critique. I'd be pleased to read your thoughts.

Cheers, Keith.

Hi Keith,

I see that we have 2 things in common!
Razor sharp image on the instruments and the CP reading the STAR/Approach info I presume. The lighting used here is perfect, lets the viewer get a nice image of the cockpit.

Regards and safe flight.

Edwin

That is an interesting shot Keith, the exposure is spot on shows everything as it should be.

really great.

Thanks
Gil

Love this! The light on the face is perfect, and nice choice of framing.

Keith, Being that I could spend every waking moment in a plane, I love this shot! (unfortunately, I have to settle for taking photos at the local airports). I love the lighting of the cockpit and the light on the pilot's notes. The blue colors are absolutely brilliant... love it!

Well done Keith! You captured this moment well.

Perfect point of view & the instrument panel is very clear & sharp - great work!

Keith,
I like this, and your other cockpit shots - something we don't see too often, and it certainly makes for an interesting subject.
Regards
Colin
