I like how the image spills out over the frame. A superb floral macro, with the added bonus of the colourful butterfly, sitting atop the flower. Good warm cold colour contrasts, between the orange & blue, with excellent dof & sharpness. Tfs!

The sharpness and POv are nicely chosen and the innovation of making a great frame is very interesting indeed. The colors are natural. I like the busy position of the butterfly. Well seen!

Hi Beverley,
Nice artwork and presentation, but I'm not so happy with the focusing, a very shallow DOF!
A nice position of the butterfly busy collecting pollen from this wonderful flower.
A nice blurred BG!
Good lighting and good details on the lower part of the wings!
If it were in sharp focusing this capture would be a real winner!
I give full merits for composition and artwork!

Hi Bev,
Good shot, I like the way you've cropped the flowers to spill out over the frame. Nice sharpness, the flat bokeh effect for the BG works well. Good use of the focal length too, well seen.

You nailed the composition and pp work Bev. Don't I just get excited with butterfly photos, they appear difficult to photograph, and when you capture one well, there is satisfaction. the ws version is indeed sharper. best regards.

hello Bev,
this is a prettily presented butterfly composition. There's just enough sharpness on the butterfly(although your workshop improves this) and this is complimented by a nice bokeh. I like your work with the blossoms on the border.
