Superb use of a shallow dof with nice bg bokeh. Excellent colour & sharpness in this superb floral macro. I like the opposing diagonals & symmetry of the 2 purple flowers. Tfs!

Excellent composition. i like the way stem of this beautiful flower leads-inn from the bottom right side of ur frame and leads the flower.
Good focus though this is not a macro lens but u've done a very fine job with it :)

Lovely macro shot of the twins!
The sharpness and POV are simply wonderful and the colors are at their best. I like the great contrast between the purple color of the flower to the comparatively light BG.

Beautiful image. Perfectly composed with a great balance created by the dual flowers. Their rolled petals opening into a "trumpet" at the end are very unusual. The DOF is sharp right on the flowers, and the colors are wonderful. Very nice!

Hi Bev,

These a beautiful flowers and I have never seen them before and at first I thought the end of the leaves were suckers of sorts. I love the vibrant colours the stamen being so bright will attract the bees and insects. Great pov sharp details and lovely narrow dof well done.

Hey Beverley,

I'm always impressed by someone who can not only shoot flowers, but also identify them. I love shooting florals as well, but am terrible with their names.

Lovely colors here. Your DOF is just about perfect. I'm not sure about the leaves on the right, they do drag my eye away from the flowers, but they are at least nicely diffused. Good neutral background. And cool looking flowers.
