[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here is my post to the Friday Theme...
Standing on the bank of the river Thames with the "London Eye" I saw this famous clock by Salvador Dali and in the background the famous "Big Ben". I loved the two different ways of how to deal with the topic "time" - one way very practical, one way very artistic.
I took this with a non-digital camera.
This shot was taken in full colour mood. In PP I cropped the image, used levels and selected "Big Ben", adjusted saturation for this level, then changed the colour to light sepia to concentrate on the age of "Big Ben" and supporting the Friday theme, tried to get rid of most of the noise on the clock of Dali, put a frame around the whole image and then - at last - cloned away some powerlines
Any comments and critiques are as always appreciated.

Hallo Britta,
sehr witzig, dass ich gerade dieses Bild finde. Hatte schon darüber nachgedacht mal eben für 1-2 Tage nach London zu fliegen - für 20 Euro pro Strecke inkl. aller Gebühren. Mit der Bahn/Bus zum Flughafen Hahn ist teuerer. Das ist wirklich ein Hammer. London ist sicherlich auch einer - v.a. für Foto Fools.
Was solls - man kann nicht über die Umweltzerstörung klagen und gleichzeitig dann auf diese Weise kräftig dazu beitragen. Also - immer schön den eignen Prinzipien treu bleiben.

Das Foto hier hätte ich wahrscheinlich so ähnlich auch gemacht. Tolle Kombination aus Very British
und Surrealismus. Wie ich sehe, hast du dich auch im Vor digitalen Zeitalter mit Fotographie beschäftigt - und zwar nicht einfach so. Big Ben steht etwas sehr nahe am Bildrand und es scheint als würde der Rest nach links kippen. Etwas mehr schärfe wär auch kein Fehler.
Idee und Umsetzung des Themas sind aber erste Sahne. Klasse gemacht.
