[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Designed by architects Wilkinson Eyre, the Liverpool Arena and Convention Centre stands on Liverpool’s historic waterfront at the Kings Dock, adjacent to the famous Albert Dock buildings.

The Arena opened on 12th January 2008 and has already hosted a very wide variety of events, from the opening event “Liverpool the Musical” to Premier League Darts, via a host of appearances from many artists and bands who have long awaited a venue like this in the city.

This shot is taken at the North-facing elevation and shows reflections in the glass of a new residential leisure and retail development under construction on the other side of Strand Street.

Hi Nigel,
A fine architectural picture. Nice geometry and well composed. I like the reflections of the other buildings, do you use a polarising filter? Nice colours and an interesting note too.
