The Adam & Eve
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Another in my occasional series of British pubs.
"The Adam & Eve" is reputed to be the oldest public house in Norwich, and there has certainly been a property of some sort on this site for 1,500 years, as a Saxon well lies below the bar room floor.
Queen Elizabeth I passed by outside in 1578, and many famous people, both worthy and perhaps also notorious have drunk in it for centuries.
I'm neither of these, but I had a pint of "Adnams" and the chicken and ham pie just the same.
This was shot about 7pm in the evening, hence the long shadows and warmish tones.
PP is levels, colour balance and sharpening. |
