[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a picture of my daughter Sarah while on holiday in the Norfolk Broads. We were on a boat trip on the Broads when it started to rain heavily. Being Scottish & having a natural affection to the rain (as it never stops here) my daughter Sarah started jumping and dancing in the puddles on the deck. Hope you like the picture, thank you!

What a sweet girl ! a big smile even when it's raining ! great.
nice portrait you made. The red chairs are a little bit taking the attention away from her, i would have removed those, but anyway: nice job !
welcome to TL

Hello, James.

Welcome to TrekLens!

A very fine first posting - just the sort of picture to cheer me up on a dark wet and windy night. What a brilliant impish smile she has, obviously enjoying having fun in the rain.

Good exposure, nice and sharp and you've caught the rain in the background very well too.

A wide-angle lens like this is good for pictures of children - don't try using it on your wife as the results won't be so flattering: you can get away with it with children because of their "flatter" faces - try it with an adult and they appear to have a massive nose with funny little ears in the far distance.

Great - keep the pictures coming!

Best Wishes,

John.

Hello James,
I was going to say welcome to TL but I notice that you have been a member for a couple of months now...and no more pics? This is a delightful portrait and your daughter has a lovely smile, topped by pretty freckles.Pity about the distracting red chair over her shoulder, but heyho we can't have everything.
Keep posting,
Bev
