[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The wheel is sited within the National Railway Museum. Construction started in March 2006 and the wheel opened to the public on April 12.

The structure cost £3 million to build and 54m, with 54 climate-controlled pods each holding up to eight people at a time.

I thought you might just get one trip around but in fact it went round 5 times, giving you plenty of views of York and environs.

This would definitely be something I'd want to check out next spring! (I expect to be in Leeds for a week, visiting my future brother-in-law).
Very good composition, though I think I'd try for something with a stronger diagonal next time.
BTW: Your gallery is really super!
I think you might get a little more attention though if you make a habit of writing at least 10 critiques of other people's images for every one image that you post. That will draw a little more attention to your very fine gallery.
You deserve some fine smiles for some of these pictures (Sorry I have run out for the day!)
