Hi Bryan,

Good shot o a blackie, reminds me o ah rude ditty, the bird id nicely focused with good blurring of bg. Nice sharp detail and good colour well done.

Hi Bryan - this is a nicely focused shot, although I don't think that the central composition is a good choice.. I have various cutouts that I hold in front of the full frame shot and see how different crops would work.
Anyway - good entry for the theme, bet the poor little fellahs looking forward to the spring sunshine..

Good composition, sharp eye the bird looks great.Nice work.

Got to tell you that hubby left the porch door open while talking to the neighbour and one of those birds got locked out. I spent over an hour trying to get rid of it. Needless to say trying to fly out the closed windows he left with several feathers missing.

After viewing TL shots many people place the animal with more space in front of them than the other side. But I agree with David that it is worth experimenting to find optimum position which is usually off centre. Nice pov and blurred bg and gleam in the eye. TFS
