[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
i couldn,t make my mind up on what pic to upload as this was the last one i took on my recent trip to York i decided on this one of the river Ouse this river is mostly used for plesure boat trips i.e floating resturants etc . In days gone bye it was as a source of transporting goods from city to city you can stll get to London using the waterways but will take about 2 weeks in a barge .Also the Ouse was very much part of Yorks history as the Romans,and Vikings used it when they came to York they are lots of roman remains around the riveside The river is also used for the York universtity rowing club i may upload a hot of this in a future date ty for looking

Hi Bryan, I like the low light in this, creating kind of a dual shot - with one side bathed in light and the other in shadows. Great colors, especially on the right shore.

Absolutely brilliant there is a rainbow of colours through this shot. The reflections on the water are great and the colours up the right bank are brilliant. You deserve a pat on the back for this one well done for a excellent shot.
