[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A section of the roof at York Railway Station, on the East Coast Mail Line in the UK. Built by the North Eastern Railway in 1877 it was at the time the largest railway station in the world.
Today the station is still busy with trains from London to the North of England and Scotland, as well as trains crossing the Pennines from west to east. (and of course the other way too!)

HDR from one image, cropped at the bottom to loose the distractions on the platform, resized.

I like the almost-abstact nature of this shot. The ribcage pattern of the girders and the lines curving into a vanishing point just beyond the left edge of the frame are excellent.
Nice work with such a slow shutter, too!

Hi Leslie,
Unique capture, the lighting looks good here. Just one thing I'm not sure about - there seems to be some quite visible grain/noise, possibly from the HDR process when using ISO 400. I do like the rest of the image however, just something I noticed.

I am a fan of this type of abstract photography.
I like how you have cropped the shot to emphasise the repeating pattern of the tightly receding arches.
