[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Kazuka Nakajima loads the rear off tyre approaching the pit straight at Silverstone.
The G-force and aerodynamics force the car onto the track, and you can see the effect on the rear tyre, almost making it look small in comparison to the front tyres as it gets squeezed under the terrific load.

I'd moved stands throughout the race weekend, and for this one I was at Woodcote.

I wanted a different shot, other than a side on or head on picture, so opted for a shot of the tail end as shown here.

To keep the car in focus moving away at such high speed, and the fact I had the 2x TC fitted, i needed a fast shutter speed so opted for 1/2000 in auto mode.

Handheld and panned.
Slight cropping to remove unwanted space on the left, but leaving enough of the apex in view on the right.
Typical USM/resizing for upload.

Thanks for looking,

Martin

Hello Martin
Wow, it’s a nice image and I think that you took it well. I like its composition and cadre. In addition, the light is fine. I read your comment about this photo and it’s perfect. I give it useful mark.

Hello Mitch,

Different point of view, and good compo. But it seems that the NR is a little too much when looking at the upper grey area. There`s a white pixel visible between the left wheels, probably due to the NR. Although i like it i`ve seen better pictures made by you.

P.s. Panning Formula 1 with 1/2000 sec. is like giving Santa Clause his red Jacket.....LOL
