| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
There are two bridges in the photo, the Millenium and Tyne (background) bridge. The Tyne bridge design was prepared by Mott Hay and Anderson, the contractors being Dorman Long of Middlesbrough, and work commenced in August 1925 and complteted in 1928. Massive concrete foundations for the towers were sunk to the bedrock while the approach roads to the main arch were being constructed, the steel road deck which immediately leads to the arch being supported upon pairs of octagonal section, steel-clad columns. I have posted a number of photos in th epast which explains about the millenium bridge. I hope you lik the photo.

Nice colour, good compo but soft abit. Overall it was nice view.

Interesting composition of sunset and silhouette of bridge. Light is very beautiful. Patterns of clouds are amazing. Sky looks wonderful.

Nice colors and the silhouette of the bridge looks great. I think a landscape orientation would look nicer in this case.

A really lovely capture. I used to live in Newcastle in the 80'2 - went back recently to visit, its great isn't it!?
