[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was among 20 or so that were naturally washed out by the reflection of the sun on the water. I really liked the feeling it had. Something from my childhood perhaps. Maybe a painting. I am not really sure. This place, however, was different. The smell of the salt air. The bitter cold of February in Northern England. These are things I have never felt before.

Did you notice how the clouds and the water line on the beach naturally mirror each other? Not intended, but I liked the symmetry nonetheless.

Feel free to comment. I always appreciate constructive critiques.

Thanks,

Aaron

Hello Aaron.

Your words say it all really...i can feel and taste the salt air here, looking at this as i too roll back to my childhood days. The waterline/clouds do have a soothing effec...ebb/flow. You capture the moment so well for us to enjoy, welldone.

Plane and simple composition... Very well executed!

Hi Aaron, this is a great photo, I can "feel" that same feeling you had! The clouds, the distant lighthouse, the waves...they all work very well to evoke a great mood in your image. Well done my friend! TFS, Sam

Hi Aaron,
A great seascape shot here. A grey overcast and moody feel. You can almost smell the salty air, and feel the chilly wind. Very nice work!

Love it, Aaron. Lighthouses and beaches are amongst my favourite subjects -- even better together!
A soft, natural look. Very well caught.
See you in Sydney in a few days!
Andrew.

Very nice image to view for the end of my day. The sunlight waves crashing against the shore, the mist rolling in. This is a very beautiful dreamy image.

Thanks for sharing and thank you for the view.

Marie-Lise

Aaron,
I like the feel of this shot. It had a moody dreamlike feeling to it. I like the composition and the texture of the waves breaking. Nice work,
Scott
