Another picture of Holywell Dene. I took this in June but during the PP process found the adjustment in hue gave a great autumn look to the leaves and with a lot of leaf litter around from a heavy rain storm it added to the effect.

3 exposures processed in Photomatix Bracketing +1, -1 and 0, increased contrast and decreased brightness, sharpened slightly, and adjusted hue to brown the leaves, added border and resized for TL.

Hope you like this shot of 'false autumn'

HI Bri .. what great composition ..great happy autumn colors ... i really like it i like PP works .. well done and thanks for sharing ... have a nice day ..Harout.

Hoi Brian,
Well .... remarkable it is. The scene is great, and I do like the colors themself.
All together it is an unrealistic image, which can be called 'unique'. :-)
I like the milky water.

regards bryan

Hi Biran,
The colors are a real treat to the eye. The composition and location are of a high beauty. But, I think you had some movement when making the three exposures. There is a feel of unsharpness or movement in the photo, especially visible in the FG rocks. It does not really help such a type of photo. I assume you used a tripod, but did you lock up your mirror? It could as well be that you focus to far into the composition and used a medium aperture.
TFS,
Niek

Hi Bri,
I like your June Autumn look, good PP work, but I think the rocks lack detail & sharpness, the foregrounds a tad soft on my screen.I also think the background sky is OE IMHO,sorry my critique does not match with the majority Bri,but its how I see it my friend & who says I know what I'm talking about anyway.
Regards

Ron

Pretty photo. Very clever editing...you fooled me!
Love how it looks like a painting too.
