[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken of some roadside cottages near the Northumberland village of Ingram. The cottages were presumably once farm cottages and probably stood, originally, on a quiet stretch of road, now they are on the main A697 from Morpeth to Coldstream in the borders a busy main road. I think the cottages are still occupied but it is as if they were stuck in time, never fell into disrepair but never modernised.

Sharpened, enhanced contrast and brightened up, again cut in a new sky as the original was just blank.

Hope you like it

Ciao Brian

Great capture, I like the
sequence of entry of homes,
all flowers, the beautiful appearance!
The sky has a beautiful light pink in blue
Excellent perspective and colors very well.
Very well done,

Best regards,

Sergio

Hi Bri,

The new sky matches the slate roof. I appreciate architecture of most any kind. I like the look of these cottages, but I think I like the photo even more, meaning your POV and DOF. The focus is good too. Tonight I'm going to TRY to put in a different sky on one of my photos, but the last time I tried it, I failed to make it look good. Your pp work is excellent.

HI Brian
Looking very welcoming with their individual gardens, rustic looking yet colorful.
A nice line up of chimneys and roof tops showing lots of sharp details.

Olá Brian

A beleza está na simplicidade do
cenário. As roseiras dão um toque
todo especial...lindo céu e boa
textura.
