[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
4th of a series of images taken of reflections in the canals in Nottingham.

I'm still experimenting - trying to find another interesting image. I do wonder if the more architectural detail in the reflection adds to the interest of the overall image or if the less detail is better.

These blocks of flats I think are intersting due to the blurry detail of the central windows. I also like the oblique running rivulets as they run counter to the vertical image of the architecture.

Hi Celina! Very simple subject but very well seen! Some pixels are obvious but I like the contrasting colors and the diagonal element. Great reflection, it's like a painting.
Cheers!
Freddie :)

Superb reflections Celina, so vibrant and colourful. The 2 triangles of colours are well composed, I like it.
Thanks for sharing

Hi Celina
Wonderful colors, composition, lighting and point of view.
Anna

Hello Celine,

I think you will have to judge each reflection on its own merits. You never quite know how they will turn out until you try them!

This one works very well in an abstract sense. Without notes, you would not be sure what was being reflected. You have composed it superbly, and that's possibly where the trick lies!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Celina,

That is very effective to only go for the reflection here!!
I think the 'hint' of architecture works well here. It has to be either razor sharp or nicely blurred and just a hint of what we are looking for. So I do really like the blur here!
I'll have a look at the other three reflections.

Greetings,
Dennis

fantastic effect celina! the only liitle things i would have preferred, are a bit better in quality and bit larger in size. apart from that, great capture.

Hi Celina,

beautiful composition. Excellent colours. I like the diagonal created by the roofs. Reflection on the water looks beautifully. tfs

Marek

nice colours, fine framing, quite abstract :)

Hi Celina
I really like your reflection series, this one is a little more abstract but what great curves. The warm color of the buildings contrasts so well with the blue water.
Thanks for sharing your experiments and explicit notes.
Regards
Michel
